The cottage features one comfortable bedroom with a queen-sized bed, offering a restful retreat after a day of outdoor fun. For additional sleeping space, climb up the wooden ladder to a cozy loft area with two single beds—ideal for kids. This space is perfect for two adults or two adults with children! Inside, you'll find a beautiful bathroom, a spacious screened-in patio, a large screen TV, a well-stocked kitchenette, an outdoor BBQ, and a cozy indoor wood fireplace. There's also a private outdoor fire pit, perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. Every detail is designed to ensure a peaceful, memorable stay. The property is pet-friendly with prior approval, making it an ideal choice for all guests. This traditional hillside cottage is available for stays of 28 days or longer, offering a perfect extended retreat in a tranquil lakeside setting. Located just 15 minutes from Minden Town Center, this property is perfectly situated for easy access to amenities and local attractions. The cottage is located 250 feet from the main house, ensuring privacy while still being close to the main property. The only areas where you may cross the owner's path are the shared driveway and the dock, where the family occasionally departs for boat outings. The hosts typically do not spend time at the dock, allowing guests to fully enjoy the space.

The property features 70 well-lit concrete stairs leading down to the cottage, offering privacy and stunning views, while another 40 well-lit stairs (concrete and wood) lead to the dock. This setup is ideal for a family of up to four or couples and friends seeking a peaceful retreat.

Guests (or their pets) must be comfortable around dogs, as the hosts have a friendly Bernese Mountain Dog named Heidi. Heidi loves roaming the property and private road. She’s great with people and other dogs, so there's no need to worry if you see her during your stay.

To enhance your outdoor experience, the hosts professionally spray for mosquitoes, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free time outdoors.
