Welcome to Kushog Sunrise!
This cottage offers 1600 SF of pure enjoyment! Kushog Sunrise is a four-bedroom, two-bath cottage featuring a lovely sunroom overlooking the lake.
A fully finished basement with a games area will keep the children entertained for hours on end. Nestled on 210 ft of lakefront, you will be sure to enjoy sitting out on the dock with your morning coffee to watch the sunrise while you take in the beautiful vista of Kushog Lake. In the afternoon, challenge some of your guests to a game of cornhole while others may choose to head out on the lake in a kayak.
While out kayaking, venture underneath the bridge and paddle from Kushog Lake into Lake St Nora for further exploration of this beautiful area. If you bring a boat, you can easily get to the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails- Frost Centre Access Point from Lake St Nora. After a full day of activities, enjoy a BBQ with everyone, on the upper deck discussing the fabulous day you just had at Kushog Sunrise!
End your day by relaxing around the firepit roasting marshmallows with the kids.
Carnarvon is just a short fifteen-minute drive away. There you'll find a convenience store, LCBO, flower shop, bakery & three of the best restaurants the Highlands has to offer. The Peppermill Steak & Pasta House, The Rhubarb & The Mill Pond. The Mill Pond serves one of the best breakfasts in the Highlands.

Please note: There is a second fridge for your convenience. Linens and towels are not provided. Please bring your own. Bedroom 4 has a bunk bed with a single on top with a maximum weight of 200lbs & the bottom bunk has a double mattress.Â

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a property rental must be in writing. We will put the rental back on the market and always make an extensive effort to rebook with another client.
Cancellation 31+ days prior to rental date
If the Vacationer cancels 31 days or more prior to the reservation start date AND Haliburton Cottage Rentals is not able to re-rent the cottage for the same dates (or more), the Vacationer will forfeit one-third of the full rental amount plus a 10% processing fee.
If when the property is returned to the rental market and subsequently rented for the same amount as in the original Vacationer Agreement, Haliburton Cottage Rentals will refund the deposit, less a 10% booking fee.
Cancellation 30 days or less prior to rental date
If the Vacationer cancels 30 days or less prior to the reservation start date AND Haliburton Cottage Rentals is not able to re-rent the cottage for the same dates (or more), the Vacationer will forfeit the full rental fee.
Deposit Policy
Deposits are due within 24 - 48 hours.
